Back up your files before your reinstall the system as reinstall might destroy everything on your hard drive.

If you are not sure how to install right drivers, you can use Driver Easy to help you.

- Could be the slots to put them in.- Could be the sticks themselves.- Could be the motherboard.- Could be the cooling (heat paste) or the fan of the CPU. Let's hope you didn't void the warranty on the PC by opening the case and changing the sticks yourself. For normal use (that's 99,9% of all users) it's a rather ridiculous amount of memory, I think.

Kees I plan on using this computer for very memory intensive / server uses.

Updated through Nvidia's Ge Force Experience thing, which is new to me.

I remember having to restart my comp after updating drivers but I didn't get that prompt after going through with the Express Installation.

My case, all my fans, gfx card fans are all operational. I turned off my computer and took out my old stick (only had 1 stick of corsair 4gb, and the model number for that is CMV4GX3M1A1333C9.)I inserted all 16gb of memory. All that occurs is the system reboots itself after ~2-3 seconds of being powered on.

Even when i have peripherals plugged in (mouse and keyboard) the LEDs that are built into them do not come on. For christmas I recently recieved GSKILL F3-12800CL9D-8GBRL. I have tried unplugging all connection and only connecting my HDD, PSU, MOBO, GFX card. I read into my manual and cleared the CMOS settings by both trying the jumpers and removing the battery itself.

Follow instructions here, then you will enter Windows again. With it, you don’t need to spend much time online searching drivers and you don’t need to know much about drivers. To update drivers, all you need is click your mouse one time. For christmas I recently recieved GSKILL F3-12800CL9D-8GBRL.
